When transporting gases in zone 0, the plant is constantly exposed to the danger of explosion. Therefore, safety is one of the most important aspects of FIMA Maschinenbau blowers.
In the production plant, both the gas, or the mixture of gases to be transported, and the ambient atmosphere inside and outside the plant, can be explosive and, therefore, extremely dangerous. It does not matter if the risk of explosion is constant, temporary or long-term, the safety of the production line and, above all, of the employees is the first priority.
These machines are approved for explosion groups IIA, IIB and IIB3. They also cover temperature classes T1-T4 for gas-air mixtures.
